ACCEPTABLE ITEMS: Solvents, oil-based paints, stale fuels, antifreeze, pool chemicals, acids, bases, poisons, fluorescent bulbs, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, cleaning products, mercury-containing devices, pesticides/herbicides, automotive batteries, roofing tar, wood preservatives, adhesives, creosote, stains and inks. UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS: NO Radioactive materials, explosives, ammunition, electronics, bulk liquids/drums/tanks larger than 5 gallons, LP/gas tanks, medical waste, tires, refrigeration devices, latex paint, garbage. NO commercial, industrial or agricultural waste. HHW Event Pre-Registration Procedure for 2019: All participants MUST pre-register by calling 845-807-0291 between 9 AM—3 PM Mon.—Fri.
